Just as it was the case with previous versions, Windows 11 must be updated periodically as this ensures its stability and smooth operation. In this lesson I will show you how to do it. To begin, I will click on the Start button and launch the Settings function. As soon as a new box appears on the screen, you will notice that in its upper right corner there is an option that indicates the current status of Windows. In my case, under the Windows Update option, the inscription Attention needed appeared, which means that I have to pay attention to this function, so I will look for the item of the same name on the left side and move to the next frame with one click. As you can see, the system has already automatically downloaded certain updates, but to apply them, it is necessary to restart the entire Windows. To that end, it is enough to click on the Restart now button so that after a few moments the usual working environment will reappear on the screen, i.e. Windows Desktop. Although the whole process was done automatically, it wouldn’t hurt to check if all the updates were successfully downloaded, so to that end I’ll restart the Settings function and go to the section where there is information about the last update (Windows Update). After that, it won’t be difficult for me to click on the Check for updates button and wait for the entire system to be checked once more. In this case, there is no new information related to the update, but if you regularly perform such checks, you will surely have the opportunity to download new additions at some point and thus “refresh” your Windows.
